Comments : We adopted our MinPin several years ago from my nieces shelter GAAR in Sth Australia at the age of 8. He has been surrendered due to a terrible skin condition but a change in diet and some massages with coconut oil soon fixed that. I had never heard of them but he has completely enchanted us! I was so pleased to find your page. It contains great information about these ittle dogs. Definitely a big dog in a amall dogs body! I follow a couple of Facebook groups but yes, most are in the US and i have only seen one other in Australia at a cafe in Melbourne when visiting our daughter.

Comments : After a neighbour was given one from her friend who was dying of cancer (since passed), I fell in love with the little guy. But still having an elderly black and tan kelpie its not possible to have two dogs in our house. So have placed this site on favourites list. One day I will get back here. Am a fan of these guys I never new existed.

How you found us : conversation about dobermans
Comments : I have 2 boy dobermans 6yrs and 3yrs(a rescue). I am almost retirement age and often think about what do I do when my boys are no longer with me. I know I couldn't handle a doberman again given the falls and accidents I have had with my boys, but a Min Pin is likely to be ideal to take us both in to our next stage of doggy life, love, and learning together. in the future years before I'm too old.

How you found us : New Zealand Breeder
Comments : Love the site.I enquired with the only Breeder in NZ that I could find as I love this breed but her wait list is very long so she pointed me in your direction. As you can see by my country it would be a bit of a journey getg a pup to me but I am at a place in my life where I have loads of time to give to a new fur friend so it would be worth it. What is the best way to make contact with a breeder?

Comments : We rescued our beautiful boy Benny when he was 5( he is currently 10) and wondered what breed he was. After investing we are certain he is a min pin due to his look, size and character. We love the breed and would be very happy to rescue another to join our family

Comments : I am canine less at present. Am comfortable with large and small dogs. My last was a smooth Griffon. I would call her Possum eyes. She was an ex show/breeder. I am still looking for my next. I have only ever had one pup and that was my Red Setter who lived until 15 yrs. since then for 50 yrs they were either chosen by me or I was chosen.

Comments : An interesting site with some great information about this breed. I love Min Pins. Rescued one a few years ago and he is a fantastic little dog with huge character. He loves cuddling up on the couch almost as much as he loves doing agility and obedience training
